Each year Gospel For Africa Churches celebrate Resurrection Day with the community In Côté d’Ivoire, West Africa!

We celebrate Resurrection Day (Easter) by inviting people from the surrounding area and asking them to bring their children for a hidden gift hunt. We also served food and drinks to everyone present. Noelle Jones and her diligent helpers organized the event.

For the majority of the children, it will be the first time they have experienced a Resurrection Day celebration like this. A large number of them come from Muslim households. We thank the Lord each time and we are so happy that their parents agree to allow them to come.

The gospel message is always delivered to everyone present and many come to faith in Christ Jesus. Children and adults raise their hands in agreement that they want to repent, then they believe and follow our Lord and Savior.

There is a great hunger for the Word of God all around us. When we speak about Jesus the old and young alike want to hear every word, because it gives them hope of a better future now in this poverty stricken country and eternal life with Jesus Christ.
Children acting in play depicting the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Several young girls and teens sang songs about the love of God for all mankind. Future world-class drummers in the making. They are really good. Adults and children prayed, coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
The children usually produce a play about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. They sing songs about His love and majesty and play their hearts out on the drums. It is a fantastic time in the Lord for all who attended.
